About Me
- I am an aspiring designer out of suburban-Detroit. I graduated from the Center for Creative
Studies in Detroit in 2004 with a B.F.A. in Industrial Design. While in school I studied
product design and finally focused my passion for design into work of my own. Since my
graduation, I have worked as Editor / Creative Director for a small entertainment-based
newspaper started by my brother and myself called the Smalltown Lowdown,
- While working with the STLD, I was able to further develop my graphic design skills, as well
as learn the marketing and advertising worlds. By organizing promotions, designing
advertisments, logos, and marketing strategies, I was able to grow not only as a designer,
but also in my focus and medias.
- I am now doing freelance design for various companies including:

Every Miles a Memory, Nicanor Networks, CharityPokerMichigan.com,
Andiamo's, The Dirty Martini, Logo Bar Gear, and many others.
- I am also continuing to work with the Smalltown Lowdown on web design,
as well as working as the Creative Director / General Manager for the
- If I am not fulfilling my passion for design, I am actively pursuing my
passion for activity. Growing up in a small suburban town, the kids were
left with little to do other than ride motorcycles, BMX bikes, snowboards,
etc. I always have to be doing something, with the more adrenaline the
better!

Smalltown Lowdown Magazine, STLD
Smalltown Lowdown, STLD, is a magazine started by my brother and myself covering the local entertainment industry in Oakland County, MI. As Art Director, I am in charge of the entire layout, photo editing, logo and conceptual design, and the design of all promotional materials, clothing, etc. Also, I designed our 3 Million hits/year website (layout and graphics, not coding) and am in charge of editing content and material, as well as writing, photography and marketing.

Milford, MI
- Through the STLD and various other connections, I have done freelance work for several local companies, including clothing and graphic design for Logo Bar Gear (www.logobargear.com), Babin Industries, graphic and logo design for Nicanor Networks (www.nicanor.net), as well as print work, i.e. menus, brochures, web layout, etc, for Red Dog Saloon (www.redogsaloon.com), Boomer’s Bar and Grill (www.boomersbarandgrill.com) and Allegra Print and Imaging of Highland, MI.
General Manager, Bartender 2000 - Present
Red Dog Saloon - Milford, MI
- Previously owned by my family, the Red Dog Saloon is the oldest and most established bar in Milford. After the sale last year, I have continued on staff as General Manager/ Bartender to help smooth the transition between owners and keep the successful heritage of the bar. Besides Public Relations and general management of both staff and patrons, duties include Beer and Liquor Ordering, Scheduling, as well as website layout design, menu design, promotional coordinator/ designer and event manager.
